Integration of Quantification of Margins and Uncertainties Methodology into Parallel Discrete Event Simulator Framework

James Leek | 18-ERD-025

Executive Summary

Our goal is to improve event simulation models of highly complex, real-world systems, such as computer networks and orbital debris, by incorporating the ability to quantify uncertainties into a numerical simulation framework. This will enable scientists to determine a degree of confidence in the simulation-based predictions that support national efforts in cyber- and space security.
