Executive Summary
We are investigating quantum control methods that are relevant to the realization of remote quantum sensing systems and the transmission of information, in which qubits (the quantum version of ordinary computing and digital communication bits) could convey information from place to place in a secure manner. Our design tools will also allow rapid implementation of new algorithms in hardware description language, a computer language that describes the structure and behavior of electronic circuits.
