Anti-Reflective Meta-Surfaces (ARMS) for High-Power Lasers

Eyal Feigenbaum | 18-ERD-005

Executive Summary

We are improving the anti-reflective properties of high-power laser optics by developing a method for patterning a sub-wavelength structure in the substrate material. If successful, this technology, which can be applied to current and future materials, will improve the longevity of the optical components of the lasers that support mission-critical research in high-energy-density science.
