Revealing Molecular and Cellular Mechanisms of Microbial Pathogenesis Through Multiscale Dynamic Imaging
Brent Segelke | 21-ERD-038
Executive Summary
This project will establish the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory Lattice Light Sheet Microscope, a dynamic imaging technology, as a critical tool to study multiple length and timescales of protein structures and functions in infectious disease organisms that pose global public health threats. Understanding the time sequence of subcellular molecular events using this technology will provide a powerful aid in developing pathogen countermeasures.
