Executive Summary
We will develop predictive models of non-radial flow (including turbulence) in plasma compressions while simultaneously seeking alternative approaches to generating high-energy-density plasmas through the utilization of such flow. Successful results would lead to reduced uncertainties and new designs in high-energy-density experiments that support stockpile stewardship science and inertial confinement fusion.
