Next-Generation Beam Quality for Deployed Laser Systems

Stephen Ammons | 20-ERD-046

Executive Summary

The goal of this project is to produce an ideal wavefront sensor that will solve the challenges associated with the use of directed energy under deeply turbulent conditions in ground, air, and maritime environments. If successful, results will make the deployment of directed energy in all domains viable, supporting a range of applications in astronomy, remote sensing, communications, and national security.
