Executive Summary
We will develop a system to perform the first-ever study of the chemical properties of transactinide elements (specifically copernicium and flerovium) in their aqueous phases. By studying their chemical properties and comparing them to the lighter homologs of the Transactinides Group and surrounding elemental groups, we will be able to determine where these elements truly belong on the Periodic Table.
