We are developing the technologies for an automated, deployable "chemistry-on-a-chip" platform for use in the field following a post-detonation nuclear event. This research will provide the post-detonation community with a unique capability for the fastest evaluation to date of fuel type (uranium and/or plutonium) associated with a nuclear explosion and will support national efforts in nuclear threat reduction.
