The Development of High-Order Interface Tracking Schemes for the Simulation of Multiphase Flows

Bryce Campbell | 18-ERD-053

Executive Summary

We are developing two novel numerical algorithms in computational fluid mechanics to enhance simulation codes for multifluid flows. If successful, this new code capability will lead to dramatic increases in solution accuracy and the level of complexity of simulations of physical problems of national interest in high-energy density science, nuclear science and technology, and Earth and atmospheric sciences.
