Quantifying Uncertainties of Microscopic Nuclear Theories

Executive Summary

We are enhancing the way nuclear data is processed and evaluated by building a comprehensive and integrated framework that combines fundamental theories of thermonuclear fusion and fission with first-class computational resources. This new method can be used to update the nuclear data libraries that underlie the simulations used in nuclear stockpile stewardship missions.
