Executive Summary
We are developing a device for producing streams of diagnostic x-ray pulses with varying delays to ameliorate the limited beam output characteristics at advanced x-ray light sources. This x-ray delay line will be used to investigate the dynamics of reaction processes in high explosives and to perform measurements in warm, dense matter.
