Executive Summary

We will demonstrate the feasibility of using a joint experiment–theory framework based on atomic-resolution microscopy and computer simulation to identify interfacial reactions in solid-state batteries. Successful completion of this research will provide guidance for manipulating interfacial structure and chemistry to improve solid-state battery performance.
