Executive Summary
We will study the feasibility of using an array of lenses made of engineered materials to improve the speed of two-photon lithography, a recent innovation in three-dimensional printing. If proven viable, this technique could enable high-resolution, high-throughput additive manufacturing of periodic structures, including nano-architected materials with superior performance and novel properties for next-generation energy storage and conversion, microchips, and high-energy laser targets.
