Germanium Photodiode Arrays for Hard X-Ray Imaging

Executive Summary

We will design, model, fabricate, and measure arrays of high-performance germanium photodiodes sensitive to hard x-rays and infrared light for imaging applications. These photodiode arrays would allow high-speed imaging of high-energy-density x-ray experiments at the National Ignition Facility and facilitate development of high-speed infrared imaging for a variety of applications.
