Executive Summary
We will develop and evaluate a novel technique to accelerate screening of the ionic conductivity and mobility of polymer electrolyte materials through an automated approach that integrates real-time in-situ characterization and active learning feedback systems during an additive manufacturing process. If successful, we will significantly reduce the time needed to develop safe, stable, and cost-effective batteries, through an integrated additive manufacturing process that increases the material's ionic conductivity, as well as the battery lifetime.
