Development of Metastable High Entropy Alloys for Additive Manufacturing
Zachary Sims | 21-ERD-046
Executive Summary
We will investigate additive manufacturing of metastable high entropy alloys through synthesis, characterization, and modeling that focuses on variables effecting metastability and printability. Successful design of metastable high entropy alloys that are compatible with additive manufacturing will enable development of next-generation materials to be used in harsh environments.
