Measurement of Mutual Diffusion in Warm Dense Matter

Executive Summary
We are developing a novel diagnostic technique using diffractive radiography to measure particle diffusion with sub-1-micron spatial resolution across the interface of two warm dense matter samples. Successful results will open a new regime in high-energy-density science in support of stockpile stewardship and energy security missions.
