Executive Summary

The goal of the proposed research is to demonstrate the feasibility of implementing additively manufactured battery components into a convective Li-ion battery design to improve the rate performance of lithium ion batteries. Successful demonstration will pave the road to new battery designs with fast charging capability and extended cycle life, and therefore accelerate the world's transition to electrification and clean energy.
