Materials for Energy Management across the Electromagnetic Spectrum

Executive Summary

This project aims to develop technologies to reduce individuals’ electricity demand, specifically focusing on energy consumption of displays used ubiquitously in personal electronics and energy consumption for building heating/cooling for personal comfort. Improved energy efficiency and thermal management will enable the development of improved technologies to combat increasing electrical demand and carbon dioxide emissions.
