Linking Protein Phase Separation to Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Pathology with Physical Simulations
Joel Berry | 23-FS-056
Executive Summary
We will assess the feasibility of using a novel physics-based computational framework to determine if intracellular liquid-liquid phase separation in a specific protein is the key process in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis disease pathology. Results will advance research towards new treatment strategies based on modulating proteins.
