Systems-To-Atoms Enabling Hydrogen for Climate Security

Executive Summary

This project will link system-level energy models to atomic-scale material simulations for transport and utilization of hydrogen as an energy carrier in a common co-simulation system-to-atoms framework. Systems-to-atoms will be used to validate the hypothesis that future decarbonization technologies will benefit from multiple material-based solutions that are optimal in terms of cost and performance.
