High Refractive Index Adhesives for Laser Glass Cladding Applications.

Executive Summary

We will evaluate the feasibility of using polymer adhesives with high and tunable refractive indices to bond cladding glasses to laser glasses. This will enable us to develop customized adhesive options for building a variety of laser systems and better match refractive index of various gain media.
