Next-Generation Short-Pulse Laser-Driven Neutron Sources for Multimodal Radiography
Gerald Williams | 22-ERD-022
Executive Summary
We will explore scaling of short-pulse laser-driven neutron sources and develop the experimental and modeling infrastructure to deliver a unique neutron and x-ray radiography capability enabled by next-generation, high-repetition and high-energy laser systems. This novel multi-mode capability will address the static and dynamic radiographic needs of national security missions.
