Development of Advanced Terahertz Chiroptical Spectroscopy for Biological and Chemical Security
Wonjin Choi | 22-ERD-056
Executive Summary
We will develop a chiroptical terahertz system, from the design and fabrication of optical filters to practical realization of spectroscopy, for biological and chemical security. This research will provide a new capability for rapid, reagent-free, high sensitivity, and high throughput chiral screening for drug discovery and the detection of biological and chemical threats.
