Taming the Wild West: Assessing Impacts-Relevant Climate Data Products
Paul Ullrich | 23-ERD-050
Executive Summary
The proposed research will quantify and explain the ability of climate models and associated impacts-relevant climate data products to represent high-impact extreme weather events over the contiguous United States. This work is essential to determine the credibility of these products, constrain uncertainties related to future projections of extreme events, and subsequently inform a broad community of end-users which data products should be used for projecting future climate risks.
