Towards Three-Dimensional Neutron Imaging with Light-field Technology

Executive Summary
We will evaluate the feasiblity of using light-field camera technology that retains both spatial and directional information of incident light to obtain three-dimensional multi-vertex reconstruction in a single-volume scintillator-based detector. This work may lead to the first demonstration of a compact, monolithic/single-volume, directional fast neutron detector which would advance our capabilities in non-proliferation.
